11 Weeks~Lime

"Your fetus currently enjoys a 1:1 ratio between body and head, and has skin so transparent that blood vessels show right through. But, fingers and toes are no longer webbed, and hair follicles, tooth buds and nail beds are forming -- setting up a significantly more attractive future."

LOL! That was the description on the website where I get all these awesome pictures. It's so crazy to think that my baby is the size of a lime now and that all of this development is happening so fast!

You still can't tell that I'm pregnant. I have no baby bump whatsoever, but I know that there's a little baby in there. I saw it when the doctor did my ultrasound. LOL! Maybe I'll be lucky like my mom was with me and not show till I'm in my third trimester. Doubtful, but I can dream right?

I'm getting more and more excited since I got to hear the heartbeat and see my little one. Especially since we will be in our house when the baby comes. We're doing our final walk through today to make sure everything is okay and that nothing needs to be fixed, then we should be able to close on the 25th!

Everything in my life is so wonderful right now. We bought a house, we have a baby on the way, Robbie is going into the police academy, and we have a solid plan to get rid of all of our debt with the exception of the house and the mustang by this time next year.

I have so much to be grateful for. I feel truly blessed.

My Husband

Since Ash tagged me, here is a survey on my hubby, Robbie. =)

I heard my baby's heartbeat!

I went to my doctor's appt today and I got to hear my baby's heartbeat for the first time! It is the most amazing sound in the world! The heart was beating so fast! 180 bpm to be exact. =)

I got to see the babe on the ultrasound. I know that I've been carrying this little thing inside me for over 10 weeks now, but it is so wonderful to actually see what you're creating. The baby lay still for a minute, then my OB decided to press down on my stomach to see if we could see some movement. My baby stretched and turned its back to us. LOL! I guess it just wanted to sleep.

Oh, and I am actually two days further along than I thought I was. LOL! I'm 10 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I am due on August 29, 2009! It is going to be a long, hot summer, but it's okay. It will be so worth it when he or she is here. =)

10 Weeks~Prune

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and my baby is the size of a prune. Baby's vital organs are starting to grow and the hands are resting over the heart.

I was incredibly sick today. More so than at any other time during my pregnancy. I actually had to leave work halfway through the day because I couldn't keep anything down. I just keep rubbing my belly and reminding myself that I love my baby and that this will all be worth it once I'm able to hold my little one in my arms.

I get to hear my babe's heartbeat in two days. I can't wait. I'll update you all on how the appt goes. I'm still a little nervous about miscarriage. I probably will be until I reach the second trimester, but I'm trying to stay optimistic. Send me good vibes and happiness.

9 Weeks~Green Olive

Well, I'm nine weeks pregnant and my baby is starting to look like... well, a baby. LOL! My doctor's appt. is next week and I'm getting more and more anxious everyday. I'm so excited. My symptoms haven't really changed. I still need to pee every five minutes, I still get nauseous on occasion, my boobs are still sore, I can smell everything, and I'm still really, really tired all of the time. It's all worth it though. Nine more days till I see the doc! Yay!

We Got a House...Finally!

Guess what? We made an offer on a house two days ago and it just got accepted. YAY!!! We got it for $152K, the sellers are going to pay our closing costs, and we're going to lock in our interest rate at 5.7% on Monday! I am so happy!

It is the cutest little house. Well, it's not that little. It's 1,894 square feet! It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cute kitchen, a huge, fenced backyard, and a covered patio in the back. The only drawback is that it is in Tooele.

Hold on before you start panicking. LOL! The only houses we could afford in Salt Lake County were in Kearns, West Valley, and Taylorsville. Considering some of the recent events that have happened in those areas, I don't necessarily want to raise my baby there. Tooele is safer and we'll be closer to Robbie's parents so they will be able to watch the baby while we're at work. The commute is going to suck, but Robbie and I are going to carpool so I don't mind.

I'm so excited! I'm going to be a homeowner and a mom. What more could I ask for?

8 Weeks~Raspberry

Hi Everyone,

You guys are probably starting to think that this is turning into a Sunny's baby only blog, but it's really not. I promise. There just hasn't been much else going on as of late.

Anyway, I'm eight weeks pregnant and my baby is the size of a raspberry. The fingers and toes aren't so webbed anymore and apparently they are moving like crazy, even though I can't feel them yet. The ears are developing and baby's head is growing.

I don't really have a baby bump yet, but I'm going to have to invest in a new bra pretty soon, which I'm actually pretty excited about. =) I got sick this morning for the first time in over a week, but I feel fine now. I'm getting more and more anxious for my appt on February 4th. I can't wait to see how our baby is doing.

I'll continue to keep you guys updated on baby and other things as they come up.

7 Weeks~Blueberry

So...I am seven weeks pregnant and my baby is the size of a blueberry. He or she is half an inch long, fingers and toes are starting to form, and the brain is growing fast! It's so crazy how much development is happening with my little one, even at seven weeks.

My morning sickness has subsided quite a bit in the last couple of days. Maybe I got lucky and only had to deal with it for two weeks (knock on wood). I am a lot more tired than I used to be and a little moody though. I can't wait till my next doctor's appt. I might get to hear the baby's heartbeat!

This is all so exciting and it's just the beginning. =)

Doctor's Appt.

So...As you all know I went to the doctor on Tuesday. Sorry I didn't write about this sooner. It's been a crazy couple of days with going to the doctor, house hunting, and work.

Anyway, my appt went well. I'm only six and a half weeks pregnant so nothing too exciting happened. My doctor confirmed by pregnancy with a blood test and congratulated me. I really wanted to go to him to get a referral to a good OB/GYN.

So...I have an appt. with Dr. Gravelle at the IHC Hospital on 5300 S and State Street here in Murray on February 4th. I'll be 10 weeks pregnant by that time, so hopefully I'll get to hear my baby's heartbeat. =)

Sorry I got you guys all excited for nothing. LOL!

6 Weeks~Sweet Pea

I am six weeks pregnant and my baby is the size of a sweet pea. My little one is only 1/4 of an inch long, but has caused some big changes in my body. Morning sickness hit me with a vengeance last week and it doesn't look like it will be easing up anytime soon, but it's all worth it for my baby. I go to the doctor tomorrow and I'm a little nervous, but I'm really excited. I just hope that everything is going as it should be. I have a history of miscarriages and I'm scared, but I am hopeful.
